Education and/or Experience Requirements for CRE/ASQ Certification:
To take the CRE/ASQ exam and compete for the certificate, you must have at least 8 years of professional experience in a reliability engineering-related field, with at least three years in decision-making roles.
Part of the required professional experience can be offset by a bachelor's degree (4-year reduction) or a graduate degree (5-year reduction) in engineering, technology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related fields.
